UK Sales Team Manager 50-55k + 20% non-contractual OTE + car package. 

Team management, and strategic selling. 

Our client are an award-winning manufacturer and service provider to millions of customers each day. They provide essential facilities equipment within Health and Safety for businesses, to protect their most vital assets – their staff.
The role of UK Sales Manager is key to the company’s growth success plan. As such you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the company’s strategic sales and marketing plans within your assigned exclusive territory, and managing a team of 7 BDM’s, and indirectly managing a small internal telesales team.

Your skill set and time will require you to dedicate 80% of your time managing your people– and 20% of your selling time dedicated to uncovering self-generated opportunities – this activity may come from networking with new prospect customers, referrals and existing customers — where you will have the opportunity to ‘new sell’ / ‘up sell’ / ‘cross sell’ to such organisations within your territory.
Your overarching responsibilities may include supporting National/Facilities Management customers via the National Account Manager. You will also manage a Telesales Team Manager, who also has some direct Telesales reports.

Base – to 55k plus bonus, plus car package, plus – Benefits- 25 days holiday + bank holidays – Christmas Shut down and Your Birthday Off

Your remit will broadly be to oversee development and execution of territory business plans  for your people that will grow the business. You will be a strong seller, leader, relationship builder, influencer, creative thinker, and you will above all else be driven by results.

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership skills, influencing skills
– Strong problem-solving skills and negotiation skills.
– Be able to close deals and overcome objections.
– Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
– Must be able to use own initiative and make decisions within a defined limit of authority
– Must be able to work automatously.

We’d also like you to have;
Knowledge within the Health and Safety and Fire Safety field would be highly desirable, but it not essential at all. Some Facilities Management experience would also be a advantage but it is by no means essential. Apply asap!!
