Position: Diploma-Qualified Paraplanner
Location: Norfolk, United Kingdom
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with financial advisors to gather client information and assess their financial goals and needs.
- Conduct thorough research on financial products, investment strategies, and market trends to support the development of comprehensive financial plans.
- Prepare accurate and detailed financial reports, including investment analyses, retirement projections, and risk assessments.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations and proposals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Liaise with product providers and other external stakeholders to obtain quotes, illustrations, and other necessary information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry developments affecting financial planning practices.
- Provide administrative support to financial advisors, including organizing client meetings, managing documentation, and responding to client inquiries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the financial planning department.
Qualifications:
- Diploma qualification in Financial Planning or related field is essential.
- Previous experience in a paraplanning or similar role within the financial services industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and information.
- Proficiency in using financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
