Our client is a reputable Financial Services firm based in Chester, who are going through a period of growth across all areas of the business, including their Paraplanning team. They are able to hire someone immediately for this position and are keen to bring on an experienced individual who can pick up the role quickly.
Paraplanner day to day:
– Directly supporting the Financial Advisers with research and analytics
– Reviewing fact-finds and updating information as and where necessary
– Look over recommendation reports and ensure this is accurate against the clients situation and needs
– Preparing financial reports & suitability letters to meet SLAs
– Prepare cashflow model reports relating to retirement / pension planning
– Attend client meetings to support the FA as and when the need is there, taking notes and offering further client support
As well as the above day to day tasks, there will also be general client support offered to ensure they are receiving the best customer journey during these processes.
Paraplanner requirements:
– 2+ years’ experience working as a Paraplanner within Wealth Management / IFA firm
– Already Dip4 qualified or part way through completing exams
– Prior dealings with back office / internal systems
– Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads to ensure SLAs are met
– Strong telephone and administrative capabilities
