The Opportunity
They are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to fill the role of North American Property Broker. This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide array of commercial properties, ranging from low-risk preferred classes to high-hazard categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing placements across multiple markets and will have the autonomy to develop and nurture relationships with wholesale brokers and underwriters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the risk and placements of commercial properties across Canada and North America.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers.
- Assess and analyse property risks to determine appropriate coverage solutions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with underwriters to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of placements.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
- Previous experience broking NA Property Risk.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- A desire to learn and grow within the industry.
