Job Description:
We are currently seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Junior Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) Administrator to join our dynamic team in Derby. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our team of experienced IFAs in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career in the financial services industry and gain invaluable experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing administrative support to IFAs in managing client relationships, including scheduling appointments, preparing client documentation, and responding to client inquiries.
  • Accurately input and maintain client information, financial data, and transactions in our CRM system or other relevant software platforms.
  • Ensure all client files and documentation are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements, including gathering necessary paperwork and completing administrative tasks related to client onboarding and ongoing service.
  • Support IFAs in preparing financial planning reports, presentations, and other materials for client meetings, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Liaise with clients, providers, and other relevant parties via telephone, email, and in-person meetings to facilitate smooth communication and efficient resolution of queries.
  • Undertake various administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A keen interest in pursuing a career in financial services, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems or financial planning software is desirable.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
