Data Protection Lead

Compliance opportunity as a Data Protection Lead working for a law firm based in central Manchester. 

Working within the Risk & Compliance team you will be primarily responsible for data protection and privacy law. 

Role duties:

• Maintaining data protection, information security, cyber security policies, information asset register, and records of processing.
• Assist compliance analysts with data protection query resolution. 
• Handle subject access and erasure requests.
• Cyber liability insurance policy renewal.
• Identify emerging and current risks with responsibility for devising and implementing action plans.
• Review commercial agreements.
