About the Role
A financial planning firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Paraplanner to join its financial planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in financial planning, with full training and support toward professional qualifications.
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Paraplanners and Financial Advisers, supporting the delivery of high-quality, compliant financial advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of suitability reports and financial planning recommendations

Research financial products, investment solutions, pensions, and protection policies

Analyse client information including assets, liabilities, income, and expenditure

Support advisers with meeting preparation and follow-up actions

Maintain accurate client records in line with regulatory compliance requirements

Liaise with product providers and internal teams as required

Develop technical knowledge of financial planning through on-the-job training
Skills and Experience

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good numeracy and IT skills (Microsoft Office essential)
