We are partnering with a National Waste Management business as they look to hire a Head of Account Management. This is a critical hire into the business and will report directly into the Chief Commercial Officer. Salary 60-65k base plus car package, company benefit scheme and a profit scheme.
Ideal candidates MUST have waste management experience, experience of growing accounts into key revenue lines for a business, and some great experience leading and developing others. You may be a senior BDM, with some experience in leading others informally, or you may be in another managerial role with some good sales experience to transition over.
This business have won lots of awards in the last few years and are showing continuing growth of headcount and revenues year on year. They have been established for over 40 years and have some key customers that have remained with them some time.
Ideal candidates will be able to think strategically about account growth, and will be meticulously organised in order to support a handful of busy and productive Account Managers. You MUST be able to demonstrate where you have executed a thought out strategy of client retention and cross sell initiatives. Someone that has performed well in a new business role would also be considered as long as you have expanded larger accounts within waste within that time period.
You will be home based, supporting the offices UK wide but will also be a positive influence at the regional offices in the East regions from Yorkshire down to Watford.
