Overview
A well-respected financial services support firm is seeking a Technical Training Consultant to join their specialist team. This role combines technical expertise in areas such as tax and pensions with the design and delivery of high-quality training programmes for financial advisers and paraplanners.
Working as part of a broader policy, technical, and training function, you will play a key role in enhancing client knowledge, maintaining the firm’s technical guidance materials, and delivering engaging CPD-accredited learning content.
Key Responsibilities

Design, create, and deliver technical training sessions across a variety of platforms (webinars, workshops, face-to-face)

Oversee training events to ensure participant engagement, timely delivery, and quality of content

Liaise with external product providers to negotiate and coordinate their participation in client training programmes

Host and manage in-person training events, occasionally involving travel and overnight stays

Respond to technical queries from client firms covering tax, pensions, and investment matters

Contribute to internal team meetings and collaborate with wider business functions to enhance client outcomes

Oversee performance management activities for one support team member (e.g., 1:1s, appraisals)

Stay current with technical developments in UK taxation, pensions, and regulation
