Senior Paraplanner – Rugby, Warwickshire
We’re currently working with a highly regarded wealth management practice seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join their growing team based in Rugby. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a collaborative and professional environment, with 1 day working from home (minimum four days in the office).
As a key member of the technical team, you’ll work closely with advisers and administrators to deliver exceptional financial planning support across high-net-worth clients – investments, pensions, tax, and estate planning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented, client-focused environment and enjoys being the “go-to” person for technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality technical paraplanning support to ensure clients receive robust, compliant, and tailored financial strategies.

Collaborate with advisers to identify opportunities for effective financial planning and source appropriate solutions. Communicate with Administrators to deliver the advice process.

Prepare detailed financial plans and reports, including cashflow modelling, investment strategies, and technical calculations.

Conduct in-depth product research and comparisons using systems such as FE Analytics and Voyant.

Maintain ownership of cases from start to finish, ensuring all recommendations meet compliance and quality standards.

Support post-review case work, assist with client meeting preparation, and handle technical queries.

Stay up to date with changes in legislation, regulation, and internal templates/processes.
Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3 years’ paraplanning experience within a wealth management or SJP environment.

Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards) – Chartered status desirable.

Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, IHT, and trusts.

Confident using research and financial planning tools (e.g. FE Analytics, Voyant).

Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and numeracy skills.

Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
