Senior IFA Administrator
London (Hybrid) – Up to £35,000
A highly respected Wealth Management firm in London is looking for an experienced Senior IFA Administrator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong IFA administration experience who wants to take on more responsibility and play a key role in supporting advisers and the wider operations function.
This position offers a hybrid working model and a competitive salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience.
The Role
As a Senior IFA Administrator, you’ll provide high?quality administrative support to the Advisers and Operations Manager, ensuring the smooth running of client processes and the delivery of an exceptional service.
You will be involved in all aspects of investment and pension administration, new business processing, platform work, and annual review preparation. This is a hands?on, varied role suited to someone who thrives in a fast?paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of their workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing new business and top?ups across multiple provider platforms
- Ensuring all compliance requirements are met before submission
- Updating and maintaining the back?office system (Intelligent Office) and uploading relevant documentation
- Managing fund switches, purchases, sales, and ad?hoc income requests
- Preparing annual review packs and follow?up reports
- Supporting a major platform migration project, including asset transfers
- Assisting advisers with meeting preparation and document collation
- Handling all investment and pension administration tasks
- Taking overflow calls to support the reception team
- Producing basic reports and supporting ad?hoc operational projects
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure smooth workflow across the team
Essential Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within an IFA or Wealth Management environment
- Strong understanding of provider platforms and investment/pension administration
- Confident using technology with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience working in a busy office environment, ideally within a larger team
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
