Our client, a well?established boutique IFA practice in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, is looking for a Practice Administrator / Financial Services Admin to join their expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the operational side of financial planning, or for an ambitious individual who wants to develop into a Trainee Financial Adviser in the future.
About the Business
This is a small, friendly, family-run firm, perfect for someone who prefers a non?corporate setting. The team currently includes two advisers, a full-time administrator, a part-time administrator, and outsourced paraplanning support.
The business is growing rapidly, taking on new clients at pace, and shifting towards more client-facing work. To support this, they need someone reliable, proactive, and ready to get stuck into all areas of practice administration.
The Role
As Practice Administrator, you’ll work across all functions of the business, supporting advisers and helping keep the practice running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

Preparing client documentation, valuations, and review packs

Managing back-office systems and maintaining accurate client records

Processing new business and tracking cases through to completion

Liaising with clients, providers, and internal team members
-
Supporting advisers with meeting preparation and follow-up
-
General office administration and ad?hoc tasks
-
Helping streamline processes as the firm continues to grow
This role is fully on-site due to the hands-on nature of the work and the collaborative environment.
Progression Opportunities
While the preference is for a career administrator, the firm is very open to someone who wants to progress into a Trainee Adviser role.
