Paraplanner with Advisory Duties
Up to £55,000 + Bonus

We’re working with a boutique Financial Planning / IFA firm in Dorking, led by a highly experienced adviser who is looking to hire a Paraplanner with client-facing advisory responsibilities. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, high-performing team and play a pivotal role in supporting both the advice process and business operations.
 

The Role

 

You’ll be working directly with the lead advisor, to share the workload and allow them to focus more on strategic business development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing high-quality suitability reports and conducting investment research
  • Completing application forms, managing data entry, and handling online trades
  • Supporting clients with pensions, GAD, FAD, IHT, and investment planning
  • Maintaining strict administrative systems, including client file management and naming conventions
  • Participating in client meetings, many of which are conducted remotely
  • Collaborating with a remote outsourced team who prepare meeting packs and assist with admin

This role requires someone who is methodicaltech-savvy, and highly organised, with a strong understanding of servicing and a commitment to delivering work to an exceptional standard.
 

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) – essential
  • Strong experience in Paraplanning and client servicing
  • Excellent administrative discipline and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with platforms such as Intelligent Office (IO) and Quilter
  • Familiarity with FE Analytics and online trading systems
  • Ability to work within a structured and process-driven environment
  • Confident in client-facing scenarios and able to work independently
