Paraplanner – Hybrid Working (Leeds)

Location: Leeds – Hybrid: 2–3 days office

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Paraplanner to join our growing financial planning team in Leeds. This role is ideal for someone who has already completed some financial planning exams and is committed to achieving the Level 4 Diploma, with full support provided.

You’ll play a key part in delivering high?quality technical support to our advisers, producing clear and compliant suitability reports, and helping ensure an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate suitability reports across a range of financial planning areas

• Conduct thorough research and analysis on pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning

• Support advisers with technical queries, product comparisons, and client strategy development

• Maintain and update client records in line with compliance requirements

• Assist with cashflow modelling and financial planning tools (training provided if needed)

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal processes and client service standards

About You

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail?focused, and passionate about progressing their career in financial planning.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Paraplanning or technical support role

• Strong background in report writing, particularly suitability reports

• Good understanding of financial planning products, platforms, and regulatory requirements

• Excellent written communication and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a hybrid environment

Qualifications

• Some financial planning exams completed (R0 series or equivalent)

• Level 4 Diploma not required, but you must be enthusiastic about completing it

• Full study support provided
