The Opportunity

A well-established, forward-thinking financial planning firm in Southport is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team. The successful candidate will work closely with advisers and administrators to deliver high-quality financial planning support to a diverse client base, covering pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and prepare detailed financial planning reports across pensions, investments, and protection.

• Produce clear, compliant suitability reports and recommendations.

• Liaise with advisers and providers to ensure a smooth and efficient client experience.

• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all work adheres to compliance standards.

• Support advisers in preparing for client meetings and reviews.

• Contribute to process improvement and help shape best practices within the team.

About You

You’ll be an organised and proactive individual with a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals. You should have:

• Previous experience in a paraplanning or technical financial planning role.

• Working knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.

• Strong report writing and analytical skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards it).
