Job Title: Paraplanner
Location: Office-based with hybrid working available
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Purpose of the Role:
Support advisers in delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality financial planning to clients. The position is open to both developing and experienced paraplanners, offering clear progression and tailored support based on experience level.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare suitability reports and recommendation letters across pensions, investments, and protection.

Conduct research and analysis to support client advice.

Gather and review client information to identify planning opportunities.

Maintain accurate, compliant records and ensure adherence to FCA requirements.

Work closely with advisers and administrators to ensure smooth client delivery.

Support cashflow modelling, portfolio analysis, and technical reviews where required.

Contribute to process improvements and assist with training where appropriate.
Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in financial planning, paraplanning, or a technical support role.

Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and protection products.

Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Confident using financial planning systems such as Intelliflo, Voyant, or Cashcalc.

Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications:

Working toward or holding the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Support provided for further qualifications, including Chartered status.
