A Chartered Independent Financial Adviser firm in Chester is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to work closely with advisers to design and deliver high-quality financial plans that make a genuine difference to clients’ financial futures.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare detailed analysis of client portfolios

• Provide technical support to advisers

• Complete tax and financial calculations, including IHT, CGT, Lifetime Allowance, and Cashflow Modelling

• Research products and solutions to support recommendations

• Draft clear, compliant recommendation reports

• Liaise with providers, account managers, and clients

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, legislation, and markets

Your skills and experience

• Background in an Independent Financial Adviser environment

• Strong technical and analytical skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Confident communicator and team player

• Highly organised with strong time management

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Experience using Intelliflo (IO) and platforms such as SelectaPension, Financial Express, Trigold, Assureweb, ExWeb, MiCap, Abrdn, Aviva, or Aegon is preferred

• RO qualifications desirable, though relevant experience will be considered
