We’re currently working with a well-established Financial Planning / IFA firm based in Hertfordshire, who are looking to hire an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to step into a key role within a forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You’ll be supporting a team of Financial Advisers by:
- Producing detailed and compliant suitability reports
- Conducting investment research and analysis
- Creating financial plans tailored to client needs
- Maintaining client files and documentation
- Liaising with providers and assisting with administrative tasks
- Occasionally engaging in client-facing responsibilities
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who is self-sufficient, confident in their technical abilities, and able to work independently without needing close supervision.
Requirements
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) – essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Paraplanning role within an IFA or Financial Advisor office
- Strong understanding of compliance and FCA regulations
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills
- Comfortable working closely with advisers and clients
