A well-established Independent Financial Adviser firm based in Worcestershire is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the office and manage a small team of Administrators and Paraplanners.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong people management skills, excellent organisational ability, and a solid understanding of financial services administration. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the business operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service and compliance.

The Role
You will be responsible for coordinating office operations, supporting advisers, and managing workflows across administration and paraplanning to ensure cases are processed smoothly and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and supporting a small team of IFA Administrators and Paraplanners

  • Overseeing workloads, workflows, and case progression

  • Acting as a point of contact between advisers, support staff, and compliance

  • Ensuring processes are followed and FCA standards are met

  • Improving office systems, procedures, and efficiencies

  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of support staff

  • Handling general office management duties and day-to-day problem solving

About You

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Practice Manager, or senior administration role within an IFA or financial services environment

  • Proven people management and leadership skills

  • Strong knowledge of IFA administration and paraplanning processes

  • Highly organised, proactive, and confident making decisions

  • Comfortable in a fully office-based role
