Junior Financial Adviser
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE (higher for an experienced Adviser)
Location: Shoreham (near Brighton), East Sussex
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3–4 days per week in the office)
Requirements: Level 4 Diploma (essential), CAS (preferred but not essential)
About the Opportunity
We’re supporting a highly respected, fully Chartered financial planning firm on the outskirts of Shoreham-by-Sea as they continue to grow. With a strong flow of new clients and increasing demand, they are now looking for a Junior Financial Adviser (or experienced Trainee IFA) to join their close?knit team of 7–8 professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing
This is an adviser-focused role, ideal for someone ready to step up and develop:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting advisers and the directors with client cases
- Sitting in on client meetings and contributing to client advice delivery
- Creating financial plans and technical reports
- Building cashflow models, suitability reports, and recommendations
- Carrying out research and technical analysis
- Taking on your own clients over time as you progress
- Working closely with the directors, who will give you direction and guidance on advice strategy
Most paraplanning is outsourced, so your time will be far more client?centric, technical, and development-focused.
What They’re Looking For
You’ll fit this role if you are:
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (essential)
- CAS preferred (not essential)
- Someone driven, ambitious, proactive, and wanting to become Chartered within 24 months, who has long-term career progression aspirations
- Comfortable being in the office 3–4 days per week (most clients attend meetings onsite)
- Keen to learn, build your client base, and eventually step into a senior Adviser position
- Looking for a firm where you can grow into a future Director and potentially take on equity
They’re also open to a more experienced Adviser who is looking for long-term career progression in a highly professional, Chartered environment.
