Our client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a talented and motivated Insurance Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience to join their team in the Los Angeles office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly regarded firm known for its excellence in litigation. Join a leading firm that provides top-tier legal services and makes a significant impact in the field of subrogation and insurance recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent corporate clients in both Federal and State Courts, handling civil litigation involving property damage claims.
  • Work closely with forensic experts to evaluate and assess the legal and financial merits of various causes of action in both single and multi-party cases.
  • Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, and briefs.
  • Prepare for, attend, and present at court hearings and trials.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Experience in subrogation and insurance recovery is a must.
  • Strong academic credentials reflecting legal aptitude.
  • Admission to the California Bar is required.
  • At least 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on property damage claims, product liability, construction matters, or property insurance claims.
  • Experience working with forensic experts (e.g., fire origin, mechanical, structural, civil, electrical, human factors, accounting, and standard of care) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and delivering oral arguments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
