Job Title: Assistant Client Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 (depending on experience)
Holiday: 33 days per annum (inclusive of bank holidays)
Bonus: Company bonus scheme (TBD)
Overview
This role is key to the overall success of a leading Chartered Financial Planning and Wealth Management firm. You will join a collaborative and supportive team committed to delivering excellent client service. The position involves working closely with Client Managers to ensure the highest levels of service are maintained, alongside a variety of administrative and organisational responsibilities.
General Responsibilities

Ensuring all client contact is professional and courteous.

Completing all tasks and updates in a timely manner.

Maintaining client records in line with data protection policy.

Adhering to company procedures across all areas including new business, client reviews, complaints, T&C, financial crime, AML, anti-bribery, data protection, conflicts of interest, inducements, and record-keeping.
Specific Responsibilities

Providing direct support to Client Managers in non-client facing tasks.

Liaising with Client Managers, Advisers, and clients to provide updates.

Liaising with providers to obtain policy information.

Managing and processing Client Letters of Authority (LOAs).

Updating client files with accurate and up-to-date information.

Preparing documentation such as portfolio reports, policy summaries, client review packs, and recommendation reports.

Preparing and processing life insurance quotations and applications.

Assisting with monthly income reconciliation.

Handling post, answering calls, and greeting clients professionally.
Requirements
-
Previous financial services / IFA administration experience preferred.

Experience with Intelligent Office CRM would be an advantage.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Professional communication and a proactive approach to client service.
