A market leading Facilities Management niche specialist services provider is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join its growing team. This 30 year old business have grown enormously over the last decade and have smashed their annual targets year on year – to the extent they are looking to grow the team even further with immediate effect. They are specialists in Fire Safety services into a multitude of sectors.

Salary range is dependent on experience but will be circa 40-55k + car package + an uncapped OTE that is seeing the team earn on average an additional £25, 000 / £40, 000 a year on top.

This organisation work extensively across the UK with both FM providers and end users.  You will be joining a team that has delivered each year against budget, and has grown organically to a sizeable team that work together to cross sell strategically. This business has seen turnover grow impressively with a yearly growth rate in excess of 10%.

You will be providing services such as fire detection safety systems, fire suppression, security and life safety solutions, building maintenance and more. Your client list will be the likes of:  NHS, Armed Forces, MOD, Intu shopping centers, Main red brick Universities, Engie, Sainsburys, Sodexho, B&Q, Rolls Royce, Marks and Spencer and many more household names.

Your remit will be to build relationships with decision makers such as: Facilities Managers, Estates Managers, Health and Safety Managers, Procurement Managers, Compliance Managers, or Finance or Managing Directors – depending on the business. You will be a natural hunter of new business and will excel at winning work and influencing people. You will be a strong negotiator, rapport builder, and will be extremely target driven. 

You will be home based, covering a regional patch, and will be able to identify end user clients and service providers, and will be experienced at selling FM related services – you do not need specific experience in Fire Safety but some overall experience selling into the types of decision makers mentioned above is essential.  You will be able to demonstrate where you have added value to a business. This organisation have not lost any staff from their commercial teams in over 3 years and have a winning formula – join them asap!!
