The Role:
As a Private Client Solicitor specializing in Court of Protection work, you will manage a caseload focused on the financial and welfare needs of clients who lack capacity to manage their own affairs. You will work closely with clients, families, and court-appointed deputies, providing expert advice on applications, statutory wills, and related matters. This position is perfect for a professional who combines empathy with technical expertise in private client law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a diverse caseload of Court of Protection matters.
- Preparing and submitting applications to the Court of Protection.
- Advising clients and their families on issues relating to deputyship, statutory wills, and the management of client assets.
- Collaborating with external professionals and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations throughout each case.
