Compliance Officer
Gloucester | Office-based | Part-Time or Full-Time
A well-established Financial Planning firm in Gloucester is looking to appoint an experienced Compliance Officer to provide hands-on regulatory oversight and support the firm’s advisers and wider team.
This is a fully office-based, permanent role with flexible hours (minimum c.20 hours, potentially up to full-time), ideal for someone who enjoys being embedded in the business and playing a key role in maintaining high compliance and advice standards.
The Role

Pre- and post-advice file reviews, including suitability reports and client documentation

Ongoing compliance monitoring and regulatory oversight across the business

Supporting the firm’s T&C framework, adviser oversight, and CPD monitoring

Providing technical compliance guidance to advisers and paraplanners

Ensuring FCA, Consumer Duty, and internal policies are embedded into day-to-day processes
What They’re Looking For

Proven, hands-on compliance experience within financial services

Strong technical knowledge of FCA regulation and Consumer Duty

Confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable challenging where required

Able to operate independently while supporting the wider team
