Account Executive – Commercial | New Business
Location: Alcester (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent | Full-time (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)
Are you a driven Account Executive or Senior Account Executive with a passion for winning new business and building lasting client relationships? We’re seeking a confident, ambitious professional to join our Commercial team and play a key role in continued growth.
The Opportunity
In this pivotal role, you will focus on generating and converting new business opportunities, while also having the flexibility to manage existing warm accounts depending on your experience. You’ll work closely with clients across a diverse range of industries, delivering tailored insurance solutions that meet their evolving needs.
Regular travel to visit clients is expected as part of this highly relationship-focused position.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience as an AE or SAE within a sales-focused commercial insurance environment
- A proven track record in new business development and client management
- Strong commercial understanding across General Commercial, including:
- Property
- Professional Indemnity
- Technology
- Chartered Surveyors
- Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Flexible, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business activity to achieve annual new revenue targets
- Build, manage, and grow a profitable book of business
- Retain and develop existing clients, delivering exceptional service and insight
- Work with a mix of SME and corporate clients, depending on your strengths
- Deliver tailored, commercially focused insurance solutions
