Heat Heroes for February 2022

Following on from the success of our January Heats Heroes initiative, we are proud to announce our Heat Heroes for February. Once again we had an excellent response in terms of nominations, with 35 given out this month across the business. This is a true reflection of our values in process, and this is why Heats Hero exists: to highlight those people in the business who go above and beyond to make Heat a great place to work. It was once again very difficult to pick just 3 winners, but we have managed to whittle down this month’s nominations into our winners:

3rd Place:

This individual has been described as a ‘longstanding hero’ who is always keen to help and give advice and useful ideas, he recently captained our basketball team at the Bristol Sports Foundation charity match event and ensured that everyone got to play and had a great time! This individual is also really stepping up in the business in terms of his promotion and has exemplified the value of integrity and creating great partnerships. A warm congratulations to our 3rd place Heat Hero, Chris Reid.

2nd Place:

This individual has been described as ‘the prime example’ of our values and behaviours: hard-working, always willing to offer advice where he can and act as a positive example. He is always passionate about his work and puts in a huge amount of effort, and helps everyone else out where he can. He’s a supportive colleague who is always happy to lend his ear. A huge well done to our 2nd Place Heat Hero, Ryan Plummer.

1st Place:

This individual has been described as someone who ‘works harder than anyone on the team’, putting in the hours and getting results that reflect his dedication. He’s always quick to help with anything and is the first one to suggest solutions if his colleagues come to him with a problem. He is a great example of someone who is able to build excellent partnerships with his colleagues even when working remotely! He is helpful, mentors his colleagues and one of his teammates even stated they’d be ‘a bit lost in work without him’. Massive congratulations to our winner of Heat Heroes for February 2022, Bobby Spalding!

A huge congratulations and a thank you to all of our winners for going above and beyond to make Heat a brilliant place to work and for setting the bar so high. We will be celebrating our next set of Heat Heroes at the end of March watch this space!
