Heat Recruitment becomes the 1st Recruitment Agency in Bristol to be accredited for the Workplace Wellbeing Charter as supported by Public Health England

The History:

The importance of good health and wellbeing is now being recognised and respected more commonly within the workplace. It has long been encouraged at Heat and after doubling in size within 2 years, we formalised our approach to ensure stability and support for employees as we continue our growth.

 The Reason why:

The development of our health and wellbeing strategies have become a natural process, keeping them in line with our values, company culture and day to day operations and after hearing about the Workplace Wellbeing Charter we knew the time was right for us to sign up and get involved.

The Workplace Wellbeing Charter is a statement of intent for businesses to show their commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees. It is a national standard set by Public Health England and allows businesses to benchmark themselves, develop strategies and commit to wellbeing within the workplace.

There is a growing body of evidence to show the financial benefits enjoyed by organisations that implement wellbeing programmes, including reduced sickness absence, improved productivity and reduced staff turnover.

The Reason Heat Recruitment is committed:

For us, signing up to the Workplace Wellbeing Charter is affirmation of the importance of health and wellbeing across the business and our commitment to continue developing our strategies as we grow the organisation.  It is fundamental to building a healthy, vibrant business where people enjoy their working lives and in doing so push and excel in their efforts to make Heat the best business and working environment.

The Result:

Bristol City Council has visited and assessed Heat in line with the standards and requirements set and Heat is now delighted to announce that we have successfully been accredited with the Workplace Wellbeing Charter supported by Public Health England!

We are incredibly proud of what Team Heat has achieved and even more so to be the 1st Recruitment Agency in Bristol to hold the accreditation.

The Future of Heat Recruitment:

We are excited for what the future holds for our health and wellbeing programmes and are encouraged by the other organisations who have also pledged their dedication. We look forward to seeing this community expand and workplace health and wellbeing improving across Bristol and the surrounding areas.  For Heat the gaining of the Workplace Wellbeing Charter is just the start, as there is plenty of work ahead as we continue to maintain a healthy work/life balance.
