What the Bristol boom means for its recruitment professionals
by Heat Recruitment
Known for its culture, thriving arts scene and fast-growing working economy, Bristol has been named the best place to live in the UK, and ranked 14th best place to work – beating Edinburgh, Oxford, and Birmingham.
Economically and culturally, the city is booming. With an equally impressive record of new businesses starting and relocating here, the prospects for job seekers across all industry sectors have never been better. The challenge we face as one of the fastest-growing (and largest) recruitment agencies in the city is finding great consultant talent to help us manage the demand.
Indeed, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to recruit recruiters, which is rather ironic when you think about it. So, with the number of agencies operating in Bristol increasing at rate of knots, why would an aspiring recruitment consultant want to join us?
Well, for starters, you become a valued employee from day one. We support, train and develop each and every consultant to enable them to reach their full potential. Then, there is the career progression aspect to the job – how far you go with us is determined by your own ambition.
We also care about our people – a lot. For instance, we are the first, and to date the only, recruitment agency in Bristol to be accredited for the Workplace Wellbeing Charter as supported by Public Health England.
Oh, and we just so happen to have won a plethora of awards and are (conveniently) located just behind Cabot Circus… just in case a short trip to the shops is part of your pay day routine.
There are a variety of reasons why Heat Recruitment continues to be an employer of choice for both new and experienced consultants – to list them all here would read longer than a Christmas wish list. To find out more about our culture, working environment and what we look for in new consultants, visit our dedicated Careers page.
Specialising in Engineering, Information Technology, Insurance and Legal recruitment, we have a highly experienced team of specialist agents ready to pass along their knowledge, skills and expertise to new recruitment consultants.
If you’re looking to start or continue your career in recruitment or are a trained experienced professional, a graduate, or simply looking to take your first steps into a new career in a city that’s sitting pretty, then get in touch! You’ll be thrilled you did.
