We’re recruiting for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a well-established commercial insurance business based in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2–3 years’ experience who wants stability, progression, and the chance to make a real impact.
? The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to a portfolio of commercial clients, working closely with Account Executives and insurers to ensure every client receives the right cover at the right time.
Your day-to-day will include:

Managing commercial renewals, MTAs, and new business from start to finish

Negotiating terms with insurers to secure the best outcomes for clients

Acting as a trusted point of contact for your clients

Producing accurate documentation and maintaining compliant client records

Supporting Account Executives and contributing to a high-performing team
? What We’re Looking For

2–3 years’ experience in commercial insurance or a similar role

Confident handling renewals and client queries independently

Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset

Organised, detail-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
Bonus points for:

Cert CII (or working towards it)

Experience with Acturis or similar systems
