Trainee Financial Adviser
Location: Central Manchester (initially office-based, hybrid once competent)
Salary: Starting from £35,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and diploma-qualified individual looking to progress into an advisory role within a supportive, structured environment. Working alongside senior advisers, paraplanners, and compliance professionals, you will develop the skills and experience needed to provide independent financial advice.
Training Pathway Includes:

Conducting client fact-find interviews to identify objectives.

Supporting client withdrawals and income strategy analysis.

Working under mentorship from senior advisers, including call listening and process guidance.

Progressing to conducting annual review meetings and identifying new opportunities.

Developing towards full adviser competency (CAS status) with no fixed timeline — progress is based on individual capability.

Staying up to date with legislation, compliance, and industry standards.

Earning commission on new business, additional contributions, and referrals.
Requirements

Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential).

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Previous experience in financial services (administration or paraplanning preferred).

Excellent attention to detail and a strong team ethic.

Confident, professional telephone manner and a client-focused approach.
