Job Title: Financial Administrator – IFA Practice

About the Company:
Due to expansion, we are looking for an Experienced Financial Administrator to join a well-established Chartered Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) practice in Chester. We are a growing firm with a fantastic reputation, committed to providing a complete financial planning service with clients at the heart of everything we do.
The Role:
We are seeking an IFA Administrator with 3+ years’ experience to support our financial planners and paraplanners. You will work in a collaborative, supportive team environment where career progression is actively encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive and act on instructions from financial planners and paraplanners.

Maintain accurate client records using our back-office system.

Produce letters, review reports, and invoices.

Prepare client files and valuations for review meetings.

Obtain illustrations and product information from providers.

Ensure client files are compliant and up to date.

Liaise with clients, prospective clients, and product providers via phone, email, and post.

Process new business submissions for investments, pensions, and protection products.
Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in IFA administration within an independent financial advisory practice.

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Experience with Wrap/Platforms, Financial Express Analytics, and Xplan.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
