A leading global (re)insurance broker is seeking an experienced Casualty Broker to join their expanding London team. This is a high-profile role offering exposure to complex international placements, a strong pipeline of client work, and the chance to work within one of the most established casualty teams in the market.
? Key Responsibilities

Structure, negotiate, and place casualty reinsurance programmes (treaty and facultative) with UK and international markets

Lead and support client engagements throughout the placement lifecycle: renewal strategy, programme design, and execution

Build and maintain strong relationships with cedants, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders

Advise clients on market developments, pricing trends, and structuring options

Collaborate with internal teams including actuarial, analytics, claims, and legal

Mentor junior brokers and support the continued development of the casualty offering

Identify cross-selling and new business opportunities across multiple lines
? Key Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in casualty reinsurance or complex casualty insurance broking

Strong technical knowledge of casualty lines including general liability, employers’, products, environmental, and excess

Proven track record of successful placements within the London and/or international markets

Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills

Comfortable managing both client and market-facing responsibilities

Understanding of reinsurance structures, wordings, and market dynamics

ACII qualified or working towards (desirable)
