Trainee Paraplanner – Financial Planning Support
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Paraplanner to join a well-established financial planning firm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in paraplanning and gain hands-on experience in producing high-quality financial planning reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- 
Interpret adviser client files to understand client needs and translate these into Financial Planning Reports. 
- 
Conduct research and analysis to identify suitable providers, products, and investment funds. 
- 
Liaise with the Technical Team and Compliance Team to ensure accurate, compliant advice preparation. 
- 
Prepare reports within agreed timescales, ensuring accuracy in spelling, composition, and data entry. 
- 
Maintain up-to-date records on the paraplanning log. 
- 
Commit to a Personal Development Plan and maintain performance standards. 
- 
Comply with Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, FCA Statements of Principle & Code of Practice, and all relevant FCA rules. 
- 
Adhere to the firm’s compliance, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), Training & Competency (T&C), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Data Protection, and Data Security procedures. 
- 
Achieve the required level of competency within the initial six-month probationary period.

Understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory obligations is desirable but not essential.
