Albion Blake is proud to be working with a global broker whose Film, TV & Media Insurance division protects everything from blockbuster productions to indie shoots and live events. This is your opportunity to play a key role as a Broker within the high-energy Entertainment & Sport team, working with major clients in the media, film, and television sectors.
As part of a specialist team, you’ll provide first-class support, handle insurance queries and documentation, and help maintain strong client relationships. If you’re detail-focused, client-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment—this role was written for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the overall efficient running of the operation by providing support, advice, and back-up to all colleagues where appropriate.
- Work in line with company best practice and FCA legislation.
- Work toward company objectives that align with departmental strategy and team goals.
- Communicate with clients, insurers, and third parties via phone and email to resolve insurance issues.
- Generate system correspondence to complete transactions in line with client, insurer, and company requirements.
- Notify insurers of changes and new cover placements promptly.
- Obtain and submit completed client documentation to insurers quickly.
- Process, check, and dispatch policy documentation to clients.
- Issue new business quotations and manage the quotation process.
- Handle mid-term adjustments and policy renewals.
- Update computer records to reflect risk detail changes.
- Re-broke risks and obtain new quotes at least 14 days before renewal.
- Issue renewal notices and address related issues.
- Secure outstanding premiums and ensure timely policy extensions or cover notes.
- Create new policy records and manage premium credit applications.
- Follow up on outstanding debts and maintain diary system for issue resolution.
What You’ll Bring:
- Cert CII qualification or working towards it (preferred).
- Insurance experience, ideally within the commercial or entertainment sectors.
- Working knowledge of FCA regulations and insurance procedures.
- Client-first approach with excellent time management.
- High personal drive and team-player mindset.
