This role is made for someone who thrives on doing New Business and variety, relationship building, and diving into the unique needs of media clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Prospects for new clients using all channel networking, marketing leads, industry events, and referrals—to secure appointments and win new business.
• Secure renewal dates and key contact details even when appointments aren’t immediately available, keeping the pipeline active.
• Nurture relationships with prospects throughout the year remain in front of mind. Regularly attend film festivals, trade shows, and entertainment industry events to expand your network and represent the company.
• Organize and attend client meetings to gather all relevant insurance information.
• Broke and underwrite a range of production-related risks, obtaining the most comprehensive cover at competitive terms.
• Prepare new business reports and quote summaries to support internal decision-making.
• Manage the full onboarding process for new business—from documentation and policy setup to payment queries.
• Arrange pre-implementation and implementation meetings with internal colleagues.
• Entertain clients when appropriate to better understand their business and develop future opportunities.
• Stay up to date on industry trends across insurance and entertainment.
• Comply fully with internal procedures and FCA regulations.
• Contribute to the delivery of team strategy and company-wide objectives.
• Support company best practices and a culture of compliance.
• Be ready to adapt to any other duties or challenges that come your way.

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in a commercial insurance role—bonus points if it involves film, TV, or media clients.
• Combined Commercial Insurance Experience is Essential!
• Cert CII qualification or progression toward it is a plus.
