Business Support Manager – Employee Benefits
Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire (Hybrid Working Model)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week)
The Opportunity
A well-established international financial services firm is seeking a driven and solutions-oriented Business Support Manager to lead operational delivery across its Employee Benefits and International Retirement Plan teams.
This role sits at the intersection of operational oversight and team leadership, offering the right candidate the chance to make a strategic impact while remaining hands-on in day-to-day performance management and service execution.
You will manage a team of administrators and work alongside Consultants to ensure seamless implementation, renewal and administration of a wide variety of group schemes and benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities

Prioritise, monitor and allocate daily workloads across the team

Maintain task accuracy and ensure timely delivery of objectives

Review and refine operational procedures for efficiency and compliance

Oversee scheme renewals and ensure appropriate process execution

Act as a subject matter expert on group products and operational workflows

Drive performance, team cohesion and service excellence
Ideal Background
This role requires either direct experience in group employee benefits or transferable experience from an operational leadership role within financial services. The ability to lead from the front, streamline operations and maintain client-focused service levels is critical.

Knowledge of group risk, group pensions, private medical, cash plans or similar products

A background in an IFA, broker, or provider environment

Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, people-focused management style

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
