Pensions Department Team Leader
Starting Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 DOE
Pensions Team Leader Duties:
- Management of the workflow of the department with one additional administrator
- Management of the day-to-day administration of Workplace Pension Schemes
- Answering routine administration questions posed by members
- Obtaining information on individual members’ existing pension arrangements to assist a qualified member of staff in advising on scheme/plan consolidation
- Liaising with the employer and, in some cases, the payroll introducers
- Assisting with the preparation of presentations to employers/scheme members
- Administration of Group Life, Group Income Protection, and Group Private Medical Schemes – researching suitable schemes for new clients and re-broking/renewal of existing schemes
- Dealing with Auto-enrolment duties – Re-enrolment and Re-declaration of Compliance
- Ensuring monthly pension contribution submissions to pension providers are dealt with within required timescales
- Maintaining a Pension Scheme Review system and preparing annual scheme reports
- Administering the setup of new Workplace Pension Schemes
Future Responsibilities:
- Support the Managing Director and management team in business planning and decision-making
- Become a member of the management team in due course, contributing to strategic direction and operational improvements
- Support, mentor, and manage the staff within your department
