Are you a detail-driven Paraplanner looking to step into a broad, rewarding role within a growing and well-regarded financial planning practice?
Our client, an independent advisory firm in Westminster, London, is seeking a professional Paraplanner to join their close-knit team. This role is office-based (with hybrid potential after onboarding) and offers the opportunity to be involved in both financial planning and investment research – supporting two senior partners and a junior adviser with a fast-growing book of high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting both templated and bespoke suitability reports
- Undertaking in-depth financial research and documentation preparation
- Supporting investment and portfolio reviews across various sectors
- Preparing valuations, meeting packs, and liaising with clients, providers, and administrators
- Maintaining CRM and compliance records, ensuring data accuracy and file integrity
- Attending client meetings where desired, taking meeting notes and following up
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and fielding queries professionally
- Contributing to ad-hoc projects across the wider business
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years in a similar paraplanning role
- CII Level 4 essential (or equivalent); working toward Level 6 advantageous
- Technical understanding of financial planning, personal tax, and investments
- Familiarity with FCA conduct standards and compliance expectations
- Experience with Intelliflo, Voyant, and FE Analytics preferred
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal presence and team spirit
- Confidence with Microsoft 365 applications
Career Progression & Support:
This position offers scope to grow into either a senior paraplanner role or progress into a client-facing adviser position over the next five years, with a client book provided.
