Are you a detail-driven Paraplanner looking to step into a broad, rewarding role within a growing and well-regarded financial planning practice?

Our client, an independent advisory firm in Westminster, London, is seeking a professional Paraplanner to join their close-knit team. This role is office-based (with hybrid potential after onboarding) and offers the opportunity to be involved in both financial planning and investment research – supporting two senior partners and a junior adviser with a fast-growing book of high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting both templated and bespoke suitability reports
  • Undertaking in-depth financial research and documentation preparation
  • Supporting investment and portfolio reviews across various sectors
  • Preparing valuations, meeting packs, and liaising with clients, providers, and administrators
  • Maintaining CRM and compliance records, ensuring data accuracy and file integrity
  • Attending client meetings where desired, taking meeting notes and following up
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and fielding queries professionally
  • Contributing to ad-hoc projects across the wider business

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years in a similar paraplanning role
  • CII Level 4 essential (or equivalent); working toward Level 6 advantageous
  • Technical understanding of financial planning, personal tax, and investments
  • Familiarity with FCA conduct standards and compliance expectations
  • Experience with Intelliflo, Voyant, and FE Analytics preferred
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal presence and team spirit
  • Confidence with Microsoft 365 applications

Career Progression & Support:

This position offers scope to grow into either a senior paraplanner role or progress into a client-facing adviser position over the next five years, with a client book provided. You’ll also benefit from ongoing professional development, exam support, and real hands-on exposure to financial planning strategy and portfolio construction.

Benefits Package:

  • Holiday – 25 days + 8 public holidays
  • Bonus – Discretionary performance-based bonus
  • Pension – Employer contribution up to 7%
  • Private Medical Cover – Includes annual health check + retail discounts
  • Insurance – Life Assurance (4× salary), Critical Illness, Travel
  • Season Ticket Loan available
  • Development
  • Full training support, exam sponsorship

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, independent firm where client service, teamwork, and professional growth are front and centre. If you’re ready to step into a role with real autonomy and long-term opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
