Company Overview

• A well-known national wealth management firm is looking for an Assistant Investment Manager to take responsibility for a range of tasks related to portfolio management and operations.

Job Description

• Using FE Analytics, Factset, BlackRock 360 and Bloomberg to provide analysis for client portfolios and the investment propositions of the central investment team (CIT)
• Updating the rationale for the firms central investment process and market views
• Asset allocation rationale commentary and meeting preparation
• Quarterly pitch deck updates
• Preparing commentary on performance for individual clients and strategies
• Producing Portfolio Review Service documents
• Preparing client proposals for IMs and the Business Development team (BD)
• Other ad-hoc requests from Senior Investment Analyst, Investment Managers and Business Developers.

Qualifications & Experience

• YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST BE CISI/CFA LEVEL 4 QUALIFIED AS A MINIMUM.
• Previous UK experience in investment operations, portfolio management, either with an investment management firm or an IFA practice, is essential.
• Analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software as outlined above
