Supervising Family Solicitor
Due to Rapid Growth, This well established law firm is seeking to recruit an experienced family law solicitor to handle a varied family caseload of Public funded work for their Southampton office. The firm provide a full coverage Family law service at a Public level and need a Family lawyer with broad experience in the area to further develop the case load and head up the Southampton branch .
Undertaking all aspects of Leadership and day to day management for a team of Fee earners you are responsible for mentoring, supporting and developing them to deliver exceptional client care and quality legal work, as well as running your own successful caseload.
You will ensure that both you and your team are compliant wit Company Polices as well as exceed the requirements of external regulators including the SRA and LAA. You will be aware of and comply with the Money Laundering and Bribery Regulations.
The role would suit an experienced Senior Family solicitor or someone looking for the next progression. You will be expected to get involved with all areas that make a successful team i.e. business development, supervision, training, etc.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
The successful candidate must have excellent technical ability and experience of handling a broad range of work, realistically having a minimum of 3 years’ PQE, managing a full caseload from start to finish.
- A qualified and experienced lawyer (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive)
- Have previous Supervisory experience
- Familiarity with the online legal aid scheme (CCMS)
- Have excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic, organised and determined in order to help the department continue to service its clients in a highly professional manner
