Recruiter Managing This Role

Heat Human Resources is currently partnering a International Manufacturing Organization to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner. This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract paying up to £55,000

This role will manage a HR Officer/Junior HR Partner and will support all UK businesses with case management and more pro-active HR Partnering support. You will work with the UK business leaders to deliver a seamless HR Service.

Talent development and talent management is another key element for the Business as they want to create more opportunities for teammates to grow and enable them to achieve their aspirations. You will work with the Country Talent and Development Manager and key business stakeholders as a joined-up approach to ensure actions are achieved. Other duties include:

  • To support managers with assessing the need for recruitment, considering reorganisation, talent pools and change initiatives
  • To liaise with the Country HR Project and Reward Expert to ensure competitive rates are being offered to existing teammates as part of a retention exercise in both reactive and proactive circumstances.
  • To provide feedback on level of roles to ensure full consideration is made to the impact and influence the position has regarding grading.
  • To liaise with the Country Reward Specialist for up-to-date information on salary reviews and union pay talks.
  • To provide feedback on topics within your area in a timely manner to ensure suitable business updates are available, themes identified, and actions can be taken.
  • To review relevant training material to ensure it is suitable, giving feedback on delivery methods.
  • To act as a coach to managers to support their knowledge and foster development discussions on general employment and HR matters.
  • To review trends and look for longer terms solutions to address site, company, and national issues regarding absence.
  • To review wellbeing initiatives to support business goals.
  • To support with complex capability and absence cases, working with OH, up to and including dismissal.
  • To work with the HR Process Specialist / Experts with transactional requirements relating to the HR lifecycle.
  • To support and coach managers on case management matters on a reactive basis, although supporting their development to avoid matters becoming issues.

Ideally the suitable candidate will have the following

  • CIPD qualification, ideally level 5
  • Demonstrable relevant experience within a HR Manager / HR Business Partner role
  • Demonstrable people management experience
  • Is able to influence key stakeholders for compliance to new or existing systems
  • Strong system experience and knowledge of HR technology
  • Solid understanding of employment law
