Recovery Claims Handler – Motor
We are partnering with an reputable Insurance Claims Management provider who are a leader in their area and offer a bespoke service tailored to their client’s needs.
With a rapidly growing client portfolio my client plans to grow their claims handling capacity across all divisions (currently Commercial/Household & Motor claims). Within the last 3 years they have doubled in size and plan to do this again. With a emphasis on nurturing talent from within through progression this opportunity is not to be missed with realistic opportunities in place for someone to progress into team manager positions.
They therefore now require additional Recovery claims handlers with experience of Motor Claims to allow themselves to keep up growth plans of their claims function.
You will manage your own claims caseload from start to finish, ensuring efficient recovery minimizing losses for our Insurer Clients where liability on a claim may be attributed to a third party. You will also review and prepare cases for panel solicitors to support litigation as well as provide guidance and direction to claims staff to ensure the recovery prospects on cases are compliant with industry regulations.
This is a fast-paced role and you must able to demonstrate empathy with your clients to handle their claims.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
At least 2 years’ experience in a Customer Service role
At least 2 years’ experience in a motor claims role
Previous experience of working in insurance claims recovery
