MARKETING EXECUTIVE – £30,000 – Stockton

Knowledge & Experience

As a candidate we are looking for you to have a degree in marketing and at least a couple of years marketing experience either in house or agency based. Insurance experience or financial planning and knowledge will be an advantage.

You will:

  • Ensure articulation of organisation’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the organisation, and assure communication of image and position, both internal and external
  • Provide marketing support as appropriate in the development of new products and campaigns
  • You will live within a commutable distance of Stockton
  • Report to the Head of Marketing

Duties will include:
INSPIRE
To inspire and support sales & marketing campaigns
MARKETING PLANNER

  • Managing, monitoring and improving the marketing planner
  • Liaising with the HOM, monitor and report on results for new campaigns which are agreed

EXECUTE MARKETING

  • Executing the various weekly campaigns from the marketing planner (Email, Post & Social Media) on time and on budget
  • Liaise with and support HOM/CEO with new campaigns or updates
  • Attend meetings with new contacts and/or current to ensure all opportunities are sourced
  • Manage affiliate and introducer relationships, creating marketing materials where required

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS

  • Producing Reports and statistical analysis for the sales team

ON BRAND

  • Ensure all communications are on brand (such as email signatures, marketing material etc.) by monitoring and revising.
  • Managing and updating brand guidelines
  • Liaising with external media companies on new and current marketing
  • Signing off any new marketing material alongside compliance

MARKETING MATERIAL
Emails, Faxes, Letters, Brochures, etc.

  • Managing all marketing
  • Manage, monitor, improve, approve Sales team’s standalone emails and use to improve marketing.
  • Draft and design e-shots, faxes and letters
  • Manage draft brochures and monitor how, why and when used. Educated Sales team on their availability and how they are used
  • Monitoring feedback and making recommendations for improvement
  • Liaise with external marketing teams (faxes, large emails and letters)
  • Keep current marketing up to date including events merchandise, banners etc

NETWORKING AND EVENTS

  • To source and represent the company (and encourage employees) at various local networking and breakfast events. A minimum number are required, and leads must be recorded and followed through.
  • Create and send out invites as needed
  • Log attendees and invite send lists
  • Communicate with sponsors and co-hosts to ensure smooth delivery
  • Update or merge presentations as needed
  • Set up and manage events on the day

PRESS

  • Planning PR campaigns, writing press releases, gaining media coverage and building relationships with the press.
  • Liaising with press/media companies maintaining good relationships
  • Turn our many success stories into press releases, marketing, ensure all work colleagues know and understand them and use for award entries

AWARD ENTRIES

  • Source and enter awards

NEWS AND PUBLICATIONS

  • Writing news stories for release. (New stories and adopted news)
  • Updating website with news stories, sourcing images
  • Producing, designing a monthly newsletter with high quality content, appearance and on time and budget

RESEARCH

  • To research and monitor market conditions and investigate competitor data, marketing and websites to be used in developing sales strategies, marketing campaigns and material

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Develop our strategy and build up followers, engagement and send regular posts/tweets. Monitor with the CRM.
  • Create new pages as needed

WEBSITES

  • To manage and keep updated the various sections of the website and social media platforms.
  • Manage content and update

THIRD PARTIES

  • Review suppliers and drive down costs not quality
  • Manage relationships with third parties (including printers, website & PR)
  • To liaise with printers and the management to ensure campaigns are briefed, proofed and delivered on time and according to budget.

BUDGETS

  • Operating within budget, working closely with HOM
