I am working with a leading Solicitor firm based in central London, they have identified that they need to hire a Hybrid IT Trainer & Business Analyst to enable them to ensure both new and current staff are fully onboarded and trained on the inhouse software applications.  Furthermore there is a need to requirements gather and work with the business to ensure workflows and process are working at the optimum rate.  This is a truly exciting hybrid role that is not often seen in the market. 

IT Trainer & Business Analyst Specification:

  • Traditional training for new user inductions, application training, project support training.
  • Business analyst, acting as a liaison between the IT Team and staff you will have a key role in determining user requirements, workflows and processes and developing the use of technology products across the firm.
  • You will be taking new staff through a full IT induction and, as necessary, creating and presenting material to remedy any deficiencies or issues highlighted at this time.
  • You will be developing training methods and communications channels to improve training efficiency.
  • You will conduct one to one desk-side sessions and group-based classroom sessions.
  • You will conduct drop-in clinics, multi-session courses and floor walking.
  • A key priority will be translating business requirements into specifications.
  • You will work closely with the legal staff to develop process maps and workflows.
  • You will be instrumental in the decision as to how technologies can assist/enable/improve business processes.
  • Helping with projects in areas such as user acceptance testing and product design/deployment;
  • Training staff on new products and subsequent releases.
  • Knowledge of training and understanding of the 3 learning styles, etc;
  • Experience of business process modelling, use cases and case modelling;
  • Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload, to have a flexible approach to ensure all deadlines are met;
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills;
  • A high attention to detail to produce work/documentation which is consistently of a high standard;
  • A lively and enthusiastic personality with a service orientated approach.
