Salary:  £65,000 – £95,000 (DOE)
Location:  Reading, Berkshire (Hybrid after probation)

Are you an experienced Independent Financial Adviser or Financial Planner looking to join a high-calibre, fully independent financial planning firm? We’re working with a boutique IFA practice based in Reading, seeking a dynamic and client-focused Financial Planner / Advisor to join their growing team.

 

The Opportunity:

This is a rare opportunity to join a small, professional team delivering solicitor-level client service. You’ll work alongside two highly experienced advisers, including one with over 25 years in the industry, with the goal of becoming a core part of the firm’s future leadership.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an existing client bank with a focus on long-term relationships
  • Deliver high-quality, holistic financial planning advice
  • Conduct in-depth client meetings (all held in-office)
  • Collaborate closely with in-house paraplanners and administrators
  • Maintain accurate records using Intelligent Office (IO) and other key platforms

 

About You:

  • Minimum 10 years in financial services, with at least 5 years as a Financial Adviser
  • Diploma Level 4 qualified (Chartered or Level 6 preferred but not essential)
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
  • Proficient in IO, CashCalc, Voyant, Octopus, Aviva, and other industry tools
  • Professional, articulate, and committed to delivering exceptional client outcomes
  • Eager to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team
