A dynamic and rapidly growing wealth management firm, currently ranking among the top five fastest-growing firms in the country. As part of our ambitious expansion plans, we are seeking an ambitious and driven individual to join us as the Head of Paraplanning. This role will be integral to our leadership team, responsible for managing a team of Paraplanners and Trainee Wealth Managers, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complex suitability report writing, covering drawdown, tax-free cash, and inheritance tax advice.
  • Collaborating with the Managing Director for technical meeting preparation and fund analysis.
  • Developing and managing effective systems, processes, and procedures to enhance practice efficiency.
  • Team management: overseeing and coordinating Paraplanners, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely case resolution.
  • Technical support and training for new/junior employees, ensuring high accuracy in their work.
  • Client services management and practice reporting.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 2 years of paraplanning experience.
  • Passionate about a career in wealth management.
  • Understanding of Investments, Pensions, and other financial planning products.
  • Ideally started CII Diploma in financial planning.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Team player with a hands-on approach to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Experience managing and developing team members.t.
  • Confident professional with excellent communication skills.
  • Values professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
  • Proactive, accountable, and open to candid feedback for personal and professional development.
