The Opportunity

They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven North American Financial Institutions Placing Broker. As the Placing Broker, you will be responsible for managing a full range of Financial Institution (FI) clients and associated policy lines. While the main territory focus will be North America, you will also be involved in international business placements as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Financial Institution clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
  • Market Engagement: Leverage your excellent market relationships to access competitive coverage terms, negotiate pricing, and deliver innovative solutions to clients.
  • Placement and Negotiation: Act as the bridge between clients and the insurance market, ensuring the successful placement of insurance policies and negotiation of terms, conditions, and pricing.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to understand the financial institutions’ specific exposures and risks, ensuring tailored insurance solutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all placements and negotiations comply with industry regulations and best practices.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

  • Excellent market relationships across a range of providers throughout Lloyds and Internationally
  • Proven track record of successfully placing and negotiating financial institution policies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial institutions, their risks, and insurance products.
  • A self-driven and results-oriented mindset.
  • Relevant insurance certifications or qualifications
