Heat are working with a global mid market US law firm in the City of London on a brand new Corporate role in their cutting edge Energy & Infrastructure practice.
You will need to be England & Wales qualified to the Solicitors roll and ideally mid level (2-5 PQE)
The Opportunity
You will join a leading internationally geared M&A practice thats focused on advising a wide range of clients on large scale renewable projects including on/offshore wind/solar/biomass.
The new hire should be well versed in M&A, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and regulatory matters.
The team are happy to consider M&A lawyers with sector specific experience, or a generalist M&A lawyer with a keen interest in this sector who would just require the energy/infra sector training. The Partners are more than happy to train up a strong M&A lawyer on the renewables/energy side.
The team work with an impressive roster of market leading clients advising on some of the markets most complex, high value cross border work.
The team is highly ranked in the Legal 500 & Chambers. You will be joining a collaborative, fun, expert environment. The team have a solid balanced structure to offer excellent progression to Partnership for the right candidate.
Requirement:
– Experience in complex cross border M&A
– Mid level PQE working as a UK qualified corporate lawyer in a top tier law firm in the City
– Energy/Renewables/Infrastructure experience a bonus but not essential
– Must be ambitious, hardworking and possess strong technical ability.
