A national environmental consultancy service provider is looking to launch a new division due to exponential growth and overall business performance as we move into 2026. This business have been operating for over 30 years and have a turnover circa 75 million, with a growing, skilled workforce with major plans to diversify.
This opportunity is a rare chance to build and own something from an early strategic stage and shape and run a full division within the business. The business’ core focus is waste management and recycling services, but with the launch of Earthworks as a division they are looking to offer a more specialist service centred on compliance and end-to-end material management within the earthworks sector.
With a dedicated team of industry specialists and a developed network of trusted supply chain partners they are able to deliver market leading onsite sampling, sampling kits and geotechnical consultancy UK wide. This business have several USP’s but in creating this division they are able to offer significantly improved project turnaround times with a consolidation of multiple touchpoints, offering an overall more effective service.
Candidates will need some leadership experience, a relevant university qualification, and experience within Earthworks and how this ties into waste management consultancy. You will have a strategic vision and the ability to take others on a journey of growth. NB an ideal candidate may be looking for a step up into an official “Head of” role, and may be leading a very small team currently.
Salary is dependent on experience but circa 55-60k plus a bonus scheme and a car package.
